The American Diabetes Association, which was formed in 1940, is working diligently to fight the deadly consequences of Diabetes and to help those affected by the disease. The Association contributes funds for research to manage, cure and prevent diabetes. They also help by delivering services to hundreds of communities, providing information for both patients and health care professionals, and gives a voice to those denied their rights because of diabetes.

Glenn Matthews, President and CEO of Matthews Buses, Inc., will be raising money for the American Diabetes Association by taking part in the 2011 Orlando Tour De Cure on March 6th, 2011. The Tour De Cure is a 101 mile bike ride, which will be held in the Lake Nona area of Orlando, Florida. Glenn has generously offered to match donations up to $1,000.00 made to the American Diabetes Association for the event.
