The final results for Trainer of the Year for 2011 were announced at the Thomas Built Buses Dealer meeting in Greensboro, North Carolina, which were held at the President's Club Dinner on October 4th, 2011. Awards are earned based on a wide variety of criteria including the number of points awarded for the number of classes a trainer conducts, the course material and the number of students trained. When the final results were revealed, both members of the Matthews Buses Training Team came away with awards.

Long time Trainer Roger Harrod - a perennial award winning trainer - garnered the award for Northeast Trainer of the Year as well as a Platinum Award. In addition, Ali Rampartab earned a Bronze Award in his first year of training for Matthews Buses and is poised for bigger and better things in 2012!
