This bus is one of the five new Thomas EF's that will be delivered to North Colonie. The Thomas Built Bus Saf-T-Liner EF is a front-engine, flat-front transit-style bus that is extremely versatile. It can seat from 54 to 84 passengers and provides exceptional maneuverability and visibility.  North Colonie also has two 30 passenger C2's on the way.

Every school day the North Colonie Central School District, a long time Thomas and Matthews customer, transports approximately 5,100 students, including 90 special needs students on nine special needs buses and 650 non-public school students to 35 schools. The Latham, New York based School District employs 54 full time drivers, 18 part time drivers and 5 bus aides for special needs students.
