Center for Disability Services Fundraiser is a Huge Success
Matthews Buses was proud to be one of the many local businesses who helped the Center for Disability Services raise much needed funds during its annual “Aficionado Experience” at the historic Pruyn House in Loundonville, NY on Thursday June 8, 2017. Former New York Yankee superstar Bernie Williams was the guest of honor, signing autographs and mingling with the crowd, as well as entertaining the masses with his extraordinary guitar performances. Attendees enjoyed fine food and drink and were treated to an assortment of first class cigars. A host of locals businesses contributed as sponsors and attendees also bid on many donated items in an effort to help raise thousands of dollars for the fine work the Center does in enriching our community. Matthews Buses’ Pete Rodriguez and Paul Daniels attended the event along with local transportation professionals Bill Garrison of Niskayuna, John Myers of North Colonie and Pete Tunny from South Colonie. The Center for Disability Services is entering its 75th year of helping more than 12,000 individuals in the greater capital district who receive much needed services and programs.
